I took my young son to see Susan as he was struggling with anxious feelings. She spent time with him explaining different methods he can use when he feels that way, and provided some books to read at home. The techniques are already making a big difference and he's managing to calm himself down and do activities his anxiety was previously stopping him from doing. Highly recommend Susan.

What a wonderful experience! I was looking for ways to aid me reduce the stress in my life at the moment, and reading up on Susan's approach, thought it was rather different to many. Worth a try? From my perspective it really is. I was taught how to help myself. No need for months of therapy in this case. The tools to gain control are explained very clearly, and are actually simple to use. I have been doing so increasingly, and feeling the benefits. There are many ways to help with stress. I suspect some work better than others for each individual. This approach has helped me significantly.

I have suffered from anxiety and depression for a number of years. I have tried counselling, stress management courses and CBT( offered by the NHS) they did help but it never got to the route the cause of my issues and the material was very generic. Susan was very welcoming and friendly I felt safe and relaxed in her company. There were tears and painful memories that had been locked away that surfaced. After my session, I felt tired but lighter and so much better. I still have to work on myself but I now have a toolkit personalised to help me cope with certain situations in my life. Susan Watson is  Senior Supervisor Therapist, Trainer, Speaker and more recently an Author, dedicated to supporting others to recovery from depression, anxiety, emotional and trauma based conditions.  
Susan herself lived with an anxiety disorder for close to 40 years and learning she took from this she has introduced in to her  work.   An accredited,  CNHC Local champion and a Clinical Trauma Professional. 
Susan has written articles on anxiety to support others with self help methods. 
Trained in many therapies which include Hypnotherapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Stress Management, Eye Movement, Energy Psychology, Trauma, Somatic Therapies and many more.
Appointments take around 1.5 hours, a mix of approaches are used to suit your needs and a selection of take home tools are included in the cost of each session.
In many cases a single session is all that is required.
